What is the difference between Argon and Low-e gas?
Argon is an odourless, colorless, tasteless, non-toxic gas used to replace the air inside the sealed units to reduce thermal transfer. It is six times heavier than air. Since Argon gas is denser than air and not in continuous motion like air, the transference of energy (heat and cold) is significantly reduced. Here at Landmark we fill our windows with 99% Argon gas!
